The ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers will look to complete their League fixtures this Sunday (3pm start) when the Birmingham ‘Brummies’ arrive at West Row for the fourth time! Previous efforts saw two rain offs and an abandonment after one heat following injuries to Tom Bacon and Sam Woods. A victory on Sunday will take the Fen Tigers to an incredible straight seventeen league wins with only the Eastbourne away fixture outstanding.

The Fen Tigers are very pleased to be welcoming fans favourite Josh Bailey back into their line up following a spell on the sidelines and will be hoping the Norfolk Flyer finds his form ready for the big finals that await the Fen Tigers Young Guns. Sam Bebee is also fit to take his place in the line up following an incident at Kent on Monday that saw Sam suffer an electric shock  during his final ride.

As this is most likely the final Sunday meeting of the season there will be some post meeting entertainment as two Mildenhall legends take to the track for the final time (or so they tell us!). Kevin Jolly and Robert Henry will be on track following the meeting and it is hoped that supporters will stay behind to enjoy the fun.

There will be other races and it is rumoured that one of the most important people at Mildenhall Speedway in recent times, Paramedic Jason Gillingham may make his debut on a speedway bike!

The ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers have confirmed this week that their KO Cup Final home leg versus Eastbourne will take place next Friday (12th October at 7.30pm) with the return leg taking place at Arlington the following evening.

In other news the club are proud to announce they have been shortlisted for the Suffolk Sports Awards 2018 ‘Team of the Year’ award. The poll will be accessible via both the Facebook page ‘Suffolk Sport’ and the website and the voting goes live tomorrow at 10am.
