This Saturday evening (7.30pm start) the ‘KJM/Manchetts’ Fen Tigers will be all out to make it a big sporting double, if as hoped England progress to the semi finals of the World Cup!

The Fen Tigers will be looking to add another three points to their Play Offs chasing tally when they welcome the Plymouth ‘Devils’ to their West Row base. With crowds on the up, the forecast looking hot and the Fen Tigers young guns continuing to provide excellent racing week on week it is a fixture not to be missed. The Fen Tigers will be without Josh Bailey (concussion) and Sam Bebee (fractured humerus) and will run Rider Replacement for Bailey. With Bebee looking likely to be out for at least a month the Fen Tigers management have signed 2017 fans favourite Sam Woods as injury cover. Woods will ride in the number two berth on Saturday before dropping down to reserve as the new averages come in ahead of the trip to Eastbourne on 14th July.

With Adam Roynon remaining on the side lines Plymouth have drafted in Ellis Perks as a replacement at number one. Perks is very likely to be in the line up on Satuday and will be remembered by Mildenhall supporters as part of the winning National Trophy team at the end of the 2014 season.  The ‘Devils’ also include two ex-Fen Tigers in their line-up Ryan Terry Daley and recent signing Ben Hopwood.

Promoter Kevin Jolly is hoping for a good turn out on Saturday evening as his team goes from strength to strength, he said “Hopefully supporters will enjoy an England victory then head down to West Row for some more exciting Speedway! The entertainment this season has been excellent I feel and this should be another good meeting. We also extend a warm welcome to anyone from Rye House plus Ipswich and Lakeside fans who are without a home meeting and of course to any other clubs supporters looking to see some exciting racing. I was very sorry to hear about Rye House as they have provided many wonderful battles across the years against Mildenhall going right back to when I was riding and are a club I have great deal of time for.

The management team had a discussion and felt R/R was the best option for Saturday as it will give our lads extra track time ahead of a busy forthcoming schedule and hopefully we can also give Sam (Woods) his full allocation of rides”
